Beneficial/Benefits Foods for Our Bodies
 
We all know what/that a diet containing a many/variety of foods keeps our bodies healthy/healthily.
 
But sometimes we are sure/not sure which/that foods are good for which/that body parts.
 
Nature, therefore/however, gives us a big clue.
 
Look at the following examples.
 
Each of these foods not only look/looks like a certain body part but is/are also good for that body part.
 
Slice open a tomato and compare it over/with the human heart.
 
You will see that they look different/similar.
 
They both have multiple hollow spaces and are red.
 
Researchers say what/that the chemicals what/that make/makes tomatoes red are good for your heart and blood.
 
However/In addition, eating/eat tomatoes can lower/higher your risk of heart disease.
 
Look at the shape of a walnut.
 
Do you notice anything?
 
Yes, it’s very similar to the shape of the human brain!
 
A walnut is divided/dividing into two parts, just like the brain.
 
Walnuts also has/have wrinkles, who/which the brain has too.
 
Studies show what/that walnuts help our brains stay/staying healthy and active/actively.
 
They are also good for prevent/preventing Alzheimer’s disease.
 
A slice of carrot look/looks like the human eye.
 
Carrots have some chemicals what/that can make vitamin A, who/which improves your vision.
 
It helps your eyes process light and send/ sending a clear image to the brain.
 
So if you want healthy eyes, eat carrots.
 
Cutting onions is/are not fun because/because of it makes you cry.
 
But try slicing one anyway.
 
You can see that the inside look/looks a little like a human cell.
 
Scientists say that onions contain/exclude vitamin B, which help/helps make new, healthy cells.
 
Now, let’s move on to ginger.
 
What body part comes to mind when you see it?
 
Doesn’t it look like a stomach?
 
You may not like ginger’s strong taste or smell, but/so these come from a special chemical that prevent/prevents you over/from feeling sick and throw/throwing up.
 
For this reason, ginger can be bad/good for your stomach.
 
Isn’t it amazing that some foods mirror the body parts that they are good for?
 
Interestingly, there is/are many other such foods.
 
Find as many/much as you can and try to eat a variety of them.
